Step 1

 

  1. Measure and mark holes
  2. Drill holes on the mark, a wood drill bit is included in the package.

Step 2

Put the straight protectors into the wood post, pass the 1/8" cable wire through. It is very easy and smooth. The steel protective sleeves will cover the rough holes, make it beautiful, also protect the wood.

Finish

After a simple installation, the level wood post protector brings a nice elegant look to your cable railing system. It never blocks your view when you rest on the deck.

Hardware Options

For the above cost-effective Level and Stair cable railing system, material required

 

  • Swage lag screw DM45 (terminal fitting)
  • 1/8" cable with cutter BW41
  • Hydraulic Crimper DC03----to swage the cable to tube
  • Level protector sleeve DB58 ---install in the middle posts
  • Angle protector sleeve DT05--install in the middle posts (angle stair balustrade required)
  • Drill jig DG12, help drilling the correct angle, speed up the job

Glass railings and traditional fences require a lot of time to wipe to maintain clean appearance.

In contrast, the cable railing system requires nearly no maintenance.
