2 methods to build pressure for crimping tool YQK-70
Please try these 2 methods as the video in above link. If no luck, come back to us for replacement.
- 1. Loose the switch, strike the head of the crimper against the ground a few times, tighten the switch and pump the handle to see if it works.
- 2. Turn the the switch tight and tap the switch with a soft hammer a few times, tighten the switch and pump the handle, usually, it should work.
- Note, use #6 to crimp 1/8 cable railing kits.
- The cable length could range from 1-1/2" shorter than the inner side post distance.
- Recommend the maximum distance between two end posts(use lag screw) is 16 Feet.
- Recommend that the post spacing between two intermediate posts ( can use cable sleeves) is 3-4 Feet.
- Recommend that the spacing between the cable space (upper and lower screw holes) is 3".
How to install swage lag screw?
- Drill half threads of the Left & right lag screws into the pilot holes in the posts which have been predrilled; then swage the cable to the screws. Note, leave half threads outside of the post. Crimp with Die # 6, crimp 3 to 4 times per screw.
- Turn the left lag screws thread in to the left post; Steel DN Mate develop a specially Wrench to make this job very easy and save strength.
- Turn the right lag screws into the right post in the same direction at the pretty the same time. This way is to avoid cable twisted.
- Note, please do not over tighten the screw.
